Chicago Ad-Tech Show
I just got back from the Chicago Ad-Tech show. The one thing that struck me was how there was no real presence of any “content writing” organization. It seems, to me, with a web marketing industry that is based on part links, part content, part design, and part keyword focus that a “content writing” organization would have evolved.
Maybe I’ll start one.
There were a few companies that offered PR writing and distribution. I thought that was forward thinking because it involved the use of “writers” in organic (natural) web marketing campaigns. But other than that there was no real presence (at least today) of professional bloggers for hire or content writing organizations.
In the future, there probably won’t be any popular websites without a full time writing staff… or outsourced agency.
Another Prediction:
Web marketing companies will specialize. Web marketing companies will either do link building or content writing. They will either do site design or keyword research/strategies. Web Marketing Service Consultants and Brokers will be the businesses that connect the Clients with their needs and the marketing companies with their business.

Hi John,
You are looking more and more prophetic. www.b4h.onebyonemedia.com
