Don’t Be Impressed
I just really liked this line when I read it today…
“If somebody looks like they’re trying to impress you with their “future of advertising” credentials, ask them if they they themselves have their own blog. If they don’t, they’re full of it. It’s a good acid test. Just my opinion.”

I think we are in a time where a lot of the bigger marketing agencies know the lingo and will use the terminology to dazzle clients. But the truth is, many of them don’t really understand what’s going on. It’s all just talk. Another good acid test would be to ask them if they have read or are familiar with ‘The Cluetrain Manifesto’.
