Nerd Thoughts…

So I survived my first 5K run. Probably not a big deal to some but kind of an
accomplishment for me. I didn’t do the absolute best but it’s a start.
Here are the race results:

DIVISION PLACE: 53 of 54
SEX PLACE: 351 of 364
TIME: 36:56:00
PACE: 11:55

I beat one guy in my division… imagine how out of shape that dude
is! and I beat 13 other men in general. probably all over 80.

And this is comical… during the race a woman with a baby in a stroller
passed me by. No kidding. It was one of those running strollers but
nonetheless… still funny that it happened.

So, I’m not the fastest guy in chicago… but as of a few
months ago I probably couldn’t have finished a 5K so it’s a start.
