Blog-Centric Marketing
In regards to developing a blog based marketing plan most businesses don’t understand the inherent value. They cannot see how hiring a professional blogger and mixing in elements of SEO will be worth spending a few hundred dollars per month.
To me it’s clear.
Let people browse, let them comment, let them lean on you for knowledge and resources. It only costs a flat monthly fee. And when they are ready to pull the credit card out where do you think they will go? And when they talk to their friends both online and off what site will they refer towards?
It’s a viral-marketing-cheaper-than-PPC solution that will drive higher quality traffic and be a more sustainable as a vehicle during this phase where the web moves from being search portal oriented toward a more aggregate reader based user population.
But how do you get that across to a VP with no time or willingness to learn? How do you make it simple stupid to understand and implement. That’s the challenge.
But it’s late right now. Must sleep.
